I am searching for relatives of Frank Joseph Legnen (could have been spelled differently originally),born in France approx 1893,immigrated to US approx 1900,but not sure where he came in, or from where.Could have come into New Orleans because he alledgedly married a Nathalie Ivy (or Ivy Nathlie) McNamara,allegedly had at least two children,Pearl and Gladys,and perhaps more..at some point,left LA for TX,(San Antonio), met my grandmother,Josie Mae McPherson there,approx 1928, and had a daughter Betty,on 11-26-1929 in San antonio.He supposedly left my grandmother,Josie, married an Hispanic woman named Mary ( i think her maiden name was Lopez but not sure)..she apparently filed for divorce in 1931,and on Aug 11,1931,he shot and killed her and then himself,in San Antonio,after discovering she was filing for divorce. I am searching for relatives,information,etc..my mother,Betty, never knew her father,Frank, and only saw a picture of him when she was 70! would like more info before her Alzheimer's bests her!
